Color coded surgical laryngeal mask airway
LMA is a type of supraglottic airway device developed by British Anesthesiologist Dr. Archi Brain.
It is most commonly used by anaesthetists to channel oxygen or anaesthesia gas to a patient's lungs during surgery and in the pre-hospital setting (for instance by paramedics and emergency medical technicians) for unconscious patients.
Speciality:

What is the difference between laryngeal mask airway and endotracheal tube?
The LMA has many advantages over an ET tube in that LMAs are less invasive, decrease airway trauma, decrease neck mobility requirements, and have a reduced risk of laryngospasm and bronchospasm.
