Post Operative Elbow Brace with Sling
Indications:
Following elbow surgery
Stable fractures
Features:
Control elbow flexion from 0° to 120° and extension from 0° to 90° in 10° increments
Foam padded shoulder straps with velvet lining for cushioning and stabilization
Adjust with simple rotate and press-lock settings
Easy to adjust size with telescoping length adjustment design
Specifically for left and right elbow
Provide single brace without strap
Size: Universal (Left/Right)
Instructions For Use
1. Locate the hinge pivot center over the lateral humeral epicondyle (outer elbow) to assess length. To adjust length, push toggle switch on the upright and pull the cuff away from the elbow hinge to the desired length.
2. The lower extension (forearm part) should extend up to the styloid process (wrist). The upper extension (upper arm part) should extend up to the most comfortable position at the axilla or arm pit.
3. Push switch back to lock it. Secure the straps, starting with the two straps closest to the elbow.
4. Wind the strap from the axilla to the back and pull upward to the front surpass the trapezius of the opposite side. You may need help from others in this step.
5. Thread the strap through the D ring.
6. Fasten the strap with hook and loop in the appropriate length.
7. If necessary, you should trim the strap for secure fit. Remove the hook piece, trim the strap and reapply the hook piece. Side bars may be bent to fit individual anatomic contour. Side bars must be bent til final length adjustment completed.
How To Use The ROM Hinge
1. Push the flexion or extension button inward and shift to desired angle settings.
2. If a fixed angle is needed, please align the hinge in the appropriate angle and slide the drop lock button to secure the angle.
