NEXTIE Ultralight 27.5" Asymmetric MTB Carbon Rim 30mm

Introduction

The carbon fiber bicycle industry has been innovating and advancing all the time. Being lighter and stronger has always been the pursuit of the professional bicycle industry, especially for the mountain rims for XC (Cross Country) riding , where riders have extreme weight requirement.

Committed to making products lighter and stronger, we have been making continuous efforts. In 2022 this year, we have updated three series of carbon fiber mountain rims, the Ultralight Edition UML30 and UML34 series with 30mm width and 34mm width, and the Premium Edition XML38 series with 38mm width. We increased the rim lip thickness of UML30 and UML34 to 3.0mm, which has stronger impact resistance; the height has been reduced to 20mm and 22mm. The shallower height improves the toughness of the entire wheel and makes riding more comfortable. Not only has the design been optimized, but also the weight is improved. The new series is about 15-20g lighter than the previous generation. For the first time, we have made a 30mm wide 29-inch carbon fiber rim that weighs less than 300g, which is an extremely meaningful and huge improvement.

The weight of model NXT27UML30 is only 275g. The profile drawing of this rim is as below. 

This rim could be used for XC (Cross Country), Marathon and Trail riding. The tire size for this model of rim is recommended at 1.75" ~ 2.15". The tire pressure is recommended at 30 ~ 60 psi.
